Docs URL

Docs URL context enriches an existing Pulse. It does not create Pulses.

How this helps triage: matching excerpts can show up in the summary, the first checks, and What informed this on the Pulse.

Exhale fetches a public or authenticated HTTPS URL and treats the document as a runbook for matching services. Each redirect hop is checked so the fetch cannot land on loopback, metadata, or other blocked destinations. The TCP connect uses the IP from that check (so DNS cannot rebind between validation and connect). Response bodies larger than 1 MiB are refused.

Connect

  1. Sign in as a workspace admin.
  2. Open Connections → Context → Runbooks & docs → Docs URL.
  3. Save the document URL (and optional fetch credentials), then Test connection. An http:// address is rejected: the Docs URLs field is highlighted and the message asks for https://.
  4. Test connection to mark the connector configured.

Missing credentials, timeouts, or vendor 403s skip this block. Triage still completes. Send-test-alert Pulses skip live collectors.

Plan

Growth or higher.

Connector slots are shared across Context categories (markdown runbooks use a separate document cap). Tighten AI → Prompt → Context use if excerpts are noisy or too large.

API

Writes use the signed-in session and CSRF. Secrets are never returned on GET.
